Saṃsāra & Singularity: an introduction
bringing together the past, the future, and the beyond...
I grew up during the golden age of children's television in India: the late 80s and 90s. Take my word for it. It was incredible. We didn’t have 24/7 programming, but we had Doordarshan, and it had Ramayan, Mahabharat, Vikram Aur Betaal, and Ghayab Aya, as well as He-Man, Spider-Man, Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad, and Giant Robot.
While Kipling famously wrote, “never the twain shall meet,” in my mind, the many worlds—Indian and Western; ancient, futuristic, and fantastical—collide and coexist. This fusion has fuelled my dream of becoming a science fiction and fantasy author, blending ancient Indian wisdom with futuristic and fantastical concepts.
What keeps these realms united for me are the fundamental questions of existence: identity, meaning, consciousness, free will, fate, ethics, time, technology, spirituality, and interconnectedness. And only recently have I realised how central these themes are to my writing—the past and the future, the probable and the possible—shaping the stories I tell.
This forms the foundation of Saṃsāra & Singularity, my exploration of the fusion between ancient Indian texts, future studies, and speculative fiction.
Therefore, whether you're curious about the ageless, the futuristic, the fantastical, or their intersection, I invite you to join me on a journey that explores these themes. Along the way, I'll share both personal insights and diverse perspectives & narratives that weave together the past, the future, the beyond, and the present, through:

and My Insights…
These will tell me who I truly am and hopefully help you in doing the same. As Steven Pressfield would say, “Time, courage, and work will reveal the Self hidden within the Stone.”
which will lead to…
My Projects,
such as: Bhagavad Gita for the Creative Soul (podcast)
A podcast where I explored work, life, and creativity through practical teachings from the Bhagavad Gita.
My Creative Thinking & Writing Consultancy
For example, I conducted a workshop for first-year students at IES College of Architecture, where one exercise encouraged them to imagine the world in 2074 and envision how architecture and the role of architects might evolve by then.
My SFF Fiction
All of the above helps me engage with timeless ideas while honing my skills as a speculative storyteller.
Writing SFF provides a lens to explore both my inner world and the mysteries beyond. It challenges me to imagine what could be, while remaining grounded in the wisdom of the past. My goal is to craft stories that bridge worlds—ancient and futuristic, mythological and technological, probable and impossible.
Through Saṃsāra & Singularity, I aim to lay this foundation.
I will regularly share short stories, updates on my novels, and insights into the creative process as I work toward my ultimate goal: writing SFF that resonates with readers, offering fresh perspectives and thought-provoking stories.
And so, let’s fasten our seat belts, whether made of copper, polyester, or a force field, and dive into the universe of timeless truths, unfolding mysteries, and boundless imagination.

Saṃsāra means "wandering" or "world." It refers to being stuck in a loop—whether aimless drifting, repetitive living, or the spiritual cycle of birth, death, and rebirth. In terms of karma, saṃsāra represents the continuous cycle of life, death, and reincarnation.
Singularity has multiple meanings:
It can mean something that’s one of a kind.
In science, it refers to a point, such as at the centre of a black hole, where gravity is so intense that space and time breakdown.
In technology, it describes a moment when advancements, especially in A.I., become uncontrollable and irreversible, leading to unpredictable consequences.
